		<description>Hi,

My name is Liezel and I am also interested in MLM marketing. I too actually have been reading a book or sometimes 3 for the past 6 months. I am more into wotapes now so I can listen while I work out.

Anyway, I just got involve with this new MLM. No, im not trying to get you to join (unless of course you want to) I just wanted you to check out my blog and tell me what you think and If i should go for it. You seem quite educated and I am still new at this.

Thanks,

		<description>Hi Chris,

I just got off the webinar. It was FANTASTIC!!!

Yes you are correct, the successes that I have had have are because I did the traditional goal setting AND I did what you guys talked about on the webinar. I even remember my wife telling me that when she was cleaning that apartment she use to IMAGINE cleaning our house. I use to spend countless hours daydreaming what it would be like to run my own business from home. You guys knocked the ball out of the park with this one.

One of the biggest takeaways I got from this was the point about not putting a deadline on the goal, but putting a deadline on the action steps that you need to take to make the goal a reality. Although I have had success in the past putting a deadline on the goal, I do have some goals that I haven't acheived yet that I've been working on for quite a while now and I believe one of the reasons why I haven't achieved them is exactly because I've been putting deadlines on the goals instead of the actions that I need to take to reach the goal.

Thanks again, I look forward to learning more from both you and Jim in the future!

		<description>Hi Roosevelt,

Thanks for your comments...we've been getting some great feedback already!

I think you'll appreciate what we're talking about Thursday night - traditional goal setting BY ITSELF doesn't work. In fact I'm willing to bet the great successes you achieved (congratulations on the massive things you achieved!!!!) are because you did goal setting AND what we'll be talking about on Thursday night. The problem is that most people who have success are unconsciously competent about what they are doing....so they can easily point the finger at the writing everything down, but they don't realize other steps went into making it a reality.

There are critical things that have to occur after the goals are written down...because if writing what we wanted down on a piece of paper (ie traditional goal setting) was enough...we'd all be living on a beach with beautiful women bringing us margaritas. ;) Unfortunately that's the big problem with "The Secret"...it doesn't cover the actions needed to bring great things into reality.

(As an aside, if you were on Yanik Silver's teleseminar today with Christine Comaford-Lynch, it was ironic timing that she actually brought up that same point about the movie/book.)

Anyway - I look forward to having you on our webinar this Thursday. We started planning this awhile back, so it's gonna have a lot of great information...we'll make sure of it! ;)

See you Thursday!

Chris :)
PS - Make sure you post your comments here afterward and let me know what you think!</description>

		<description>Chris,

I've used traditional goal setting to go from living in a basement apartment in one of the worst neighborhoods in the country taking public transportation everywhere and having a 2 - 3 hour daily commute to work to living in a brand new home, driving a brand new car paid for all cash and having a commute from my bedroom up the stairs to my office.

So I was very surprised when I saw that you and Jim Edwards say that traditional goal setting doesn't work.

That being said, one of my mentors always says "If your stack is bigger than my stack, then I'm interested in what you have to say."

Unless you guys have some horrendous profit margins, I'm pretty sure your stack and Jim's stack are bigger than mine.

So I will be there on Thursday night to hear what you guys have to say about goal setting.

See you there!
